The tax base is not the whole income, you moron! It’s a GRADUAL increase! (like in your example only the income ABOVE 200k would be taxed 90%) But nobody advocates for a 90% tax rate, I’m just saying that America was very prosperous and everybody worked harder than ever even when there were very high tax rates!
