If Obama had let the auto-industry fail, there would be millions more people unemployed from the manufacturing industry alone! You forget one …
You forget one thing – Small cos need to have enough business to expand. You can give them access to all the loans you want, but cos are not going to take the money if they don’t have enough business to warrant expansion. Instead of expanding, cos are merging together and in many cases, purging employees and expenses. Besides, who would want to start a business right now? If it is too successful, you will find a way to make it evil and then tax and regulate it right out of business. Great plan.
